    Some features of the game have been removed, adjusted, or replaced.

     

    Classes

    • MTVR's hidden (scope 1 to remove from editor), in favour of 5t Truck's (US Army found MTVR too expensive) - Will be available for USNAVY (incl USMC) ACEX expansion.

     

    Backpack system

    • BIS Backpacks will remain usable in missions that already use them
    • Re-evaluate at a future patch
    Motivations:

    • Cannot properly enumurate magazines in the backpacks, so cannot calculate weight -solved
    • BIS system is based on slots, as opposed to weight/volume - solvable
    • Can't script-add the rucksacks into weapon crates - solved
    • Mass overload of rucksacks when too many rucksacks are put into crate manually - Solved?

    CSW (CrewservedWeaps)

    • BIS CSW will remain usable in missions that already use them
    • Re-evaluate at a future patch

    Motivations:

    • No tripod placing/turning etc
    • TODO

     

    Strykers

    • Most strykers hidden (scope 1 to remove from editor), but there are non-desert ACE Strykers available atm. You can still spawn them with createVehicle or manual mission.sqm editing
    • ACE desert strykers are planned.
    • Evaluate at a future patch.

    Motivations:

    • They seem incomplete / rushed
    • They have unrealistic loadouts which are not correctly solveable due to the models. Examples are the Mortar and Gun strykers that have features missing.
    • They lack 3rd position (Commander)
    • They lack interiors
